The most requested treatment in aesthetic medicine concerns the lips: it is often the first procedure a medical aesthetic practitioner performs. However, this treatment is sometimes underestimated, even though it is actually quite complex.
Each patient has a unique lip shape, structure, and contour, as well as their own perception of beauty. It is therefore the responsibility of the aesthetic physician, with skill and sensitivity, to restore volume and fullness, correct minor asymmetries, and enhance the lips using hyaluronic acid, achieving a result that is both natural and attractive.

Today, there are numerous techniques available for lip treatment. A quick look at databases such as Scopus, PubMed, or leading scientific journals shows the wide variety of methods in use. What really matters, however, is that the aesthetic physician possesses a broad technical background, allowing them to personalize the treatment according to the patient’s facial features and overall harmony.
